The following may he taken as the quotations for leading articles :—: — Adelaide flour, £24; Provincial, £17 10s to £18 ; in small bags, 10s extra. Tea, duty paid, common, Is 9d ; good mediiim, 2s 3d to 2s 6d ; superior kinds, 2s 9d to 3a boxes, 32s to 30s ; orange pekoe, 2s 9d to 3s 3d. Sugar, duty paid— Whites, £4S to £52 ; grey crystals £46 to £48 ; yellow do, £4-3 to £4 ; yellow counter, £42 to £44 ; coin•mon yellows, £38 to £40. Spirits (in bond) : Brandies, Martell's or Hennessy's, Ss per gallon ; second brands, 6s 6d to 7s ; Martell's, in case, 30s fid ; Hennessy's, do, 30s yd. Whisky, Scotch, 5s 6d per gallon, ; Irish, 6s ; Stewart's do. in case, lls. Rum, 4s 6d to 4s 9d. Geneva, J.D.K.Z., per case, 10s. Old Tom, per case, 14s fid to 16s 6d. . Ale (in bulk), d\ity paid, £9 10s to £10 ; in bottle, Tennant's, 13s ; Jeffreys, Youngers, or Bass's, 12s ; other brands, 6d. less. ' . . Porter, duty paid— Guinness's, Blood's, -and Machin's, in glass, 12s 9d ; Byass's, lls ; Victoria Stores, 9s Gd; other brands, unsaleable. Aromatic tobacco may be quoted at 2s to 3s ; dark, at Is 6d to' 2s ; tens' at la 6d to 2s 3d ; Barret's twist, 2s 9d. Soap : Liverpool, no demand ; Colonial or Provincial, 30s. Butter — Provincial, prime, Is 2d; Welliagton or Sydney, Is. Cheese, English, Is 3d ; Colonial, lOid to lid. Hams and Bacon, new cure— Sinclair'B md Coey's, Is 2d to Is 4£d, respectively ; other brands, Id to 2d per Ib. leas. Candles— Full weights, Is Id to Is 2dJ -light weights, unsaleable.
