CARTAGE REPORT.
July 14th, 1864. Messrs ii. I)e Carle and Co., carriers and general forwarding agents, report as under :— No diminution in rates has taken place during the past week. A healthy and continueus stream of business has set in from all the diggings ; and earnestly is it to be hoped, for the sake of all parties, that this state of things may long continue. The rates at which we are loading are as under :—
The above quotations are for flour, ironmongery and henvy groceries. Timber and drapery are higher iv proportion. 20 aud 22, Princes-street, Dunediu, 14th July, 18G4.
