AUSTRIA.
The Chamber of Deputies passed a resolution, notwithstanding the energetic opposition of Ministers, to the effect that the measures taken by the Government in reference to Schleswig are not in conformity with the interests of Austria, nor calculated to insure general peace in Europe, and that they decline any responsibility for the consequences attending the steps Government has taken.
Fifty thousand Austrian - Prussian forces have been collected on the Eider. About the 9th of February the passage of the river will be attempted.
Should the remonstrances of France and England fail, a war involving all the great states of Europe will be the inevitable consequence.
