ARRESTED AT PAEKAKARIKI.

WAIRARAPA RESIDENTS INVOLVED. Constable Suthcrley yesterday arrested Percy William Solly, alias Booth, at Packakariki, and later in the day charged him with, thai he did at Petone on the 11th inst. intend to defraud I>y means of a certain false pretence, to wit by 'falsely representing that he was one" Harry Booth, whose cousin was one, Alt'. Booth, a sheep-station owner of Carterton, did obtain from one, .John Patterson Donald, the sum of £2, the property of the said J. P. Donald. Constable Sntherley asked for a remand to Petone, which was granted by the presiding ,T.l\, Mr. 11. Nicelson.

It is understood that other charge are pending.
