Bidding was hot brisk for either cattle or sheep, but a number of horses offered attracted attention and prices .ais high as £36 were realised. A number of dairy bulls were offered "but bidding was slack, £6 6s being the highest recorded, mo.st of the offering being passed .. m.. .? Two. pens of eW es and lambs were offered, one pen of father nice Southdown lambs realising 7/6 all counted ; the other pen going for 6/1. A pen ot fair wether hoggets brought 9/7 and a small lot of ewe hoggets 12/8. .Pigs; were a. redeeming feature, one weaner realising 281- ; others, at 23/- and the balance 20/-.
