Wallace Licensing Committee.

The first meeting ot the new Licensing Committee was held m the Courthouse, Biverton, on Monday, lst4nst., there being present: Messrs i-Q-. iCruickshanks, S.M. (chairman), and Messrs W. Aflleck, John Horrell, James Adamson, and Thomas Power. Mr J. Horrell gave notice of motion that a former resolution dealing with conditional licenses be rescinded, aud that m future conditional licenses be granted to the Western District and Wallace A. and P. Associations, ploughing matches, and race meetings having a totalisator permit. The motion will come up for discussion nt the annual meeting to be deld m June.
