WOMEN’S DIVISION

OAONUI BRANCH MARCH MEETING Mrs. White presided over a fair attendance at the March meeting*. Birthday sprays were presented to the following members: Mesdames -I. Bishop, Clarke. Cook, Knofflock, Death - erharrow, Pjrimona, Sargent, Simpson, Yercoe, F. Young and K. Young. A welcome was extended to visitors. Several greatful letters of thanks from overseas recipients of food parcels were read. A small programme arranged hv members other than office hearers was enjoyed and was as follows:—Piano Solo, Mrs. Sarvent; Competition “Song Titles" was Avon by Mrs. R. Baylis, jnr. and Miss A. Baylis; Community Singing and a Brain Quiz Test. Five food parcels were packed for Britain. Winners of competitions areas follows: — Wandering Shilling: Mrs. G. Wilson. Best 3 Vegetables: Mrs. Hn of flock 1, Miss A. Baylis 2, Mrs. G. Wil son 3. Best Bloom: Mrs. R. Baylis, jnr. 1, Miss A. Baylis 2, MrsWhite 3. Best Shrub: Mrs. ,T. Stronge ], Mrs, White 2. Mrs. C.
