Meeting Notices, On Monday the . Opunake Basketball Club’s annual meeting will he held and a full attendance is urged. The Ladies’ Golf Club annual meeting is to be held next Wednesday and the Opunake Red Cross Sub-centre’s annual meeting will take place the following evening. (Lee advertisements.) Trip to Brands Fairs. Arranged by the Taranaki Alpine Club, a trip to Brame’s Falls will take place on Sunday next from the fop of the Them Road commencing at 7.80 a-m. The club members, who will be staying overnight at the Beach Camping ground, will journey to the starling- point by private cars. An open invitation is extended to all Opunake residents, who are fit, lo attend. Equipment needed being boots (nailed if possible); a lorcli and lunch. Many young people of the district will no do.ubt welcome this opportunity to make the climb in experienced company and it is anticipated that a large number will avail them solves o’f - the opportunity.
