ANNUAL MEET! NC SUCCESSFUL SEASON Increased enthusiasm shown at the Opunake Boxing Club’s Annual Meeting held in the Bowling Club’s rooms ru Tuesday when a good attendance was recorded. The President, Mr. T. B. Fouliy presided. The president, in his r port, complimented members on the sound financial position and the enthusiastic support given u» last year’s successful tournament, and expiessed appreciation of the work of members and supporters, particularly th Q secretary, Mr. I. Donations of £l-1-0 were voted to the St. -lolni Ambulance Division, the Opunake Foothad Club and the Bowling Club, and the secretary was instructed to transfer £75 to the Post Office account. Air. S. Peppereli, training school coach, reported that the club’s gear was in good order and it now*, had its own ring gear. The purchase of 2 pair of tournament gloves and 4 pair ot punch bag gloves was authorised.

Air. Peppereli and Air. Pettit also supported the chairman’s recommendations.
