BASKETBALL DANCE
SUCCESSFUL EVENING BIG ATTENDANCE The Opunake Basketball Club's Ball which was held in the Drill Hall on Tuesday was a most successful and enjoyable function, a large crowd, including many visitors, attending. The hall was most tastefully decorated for the occasion ry Mrs. N. Johnston and many comp'lime,ntary remarks were made by those present. Popular dance music rendered by Vinsen's Orchestra and a dainty supper served by the basketball girls added to the enjoyment of the evening, while several : novelty ;. dances were included .jn the programme. A Monte Carlo was won by a visiting' couple, the lucky spot winners being Miss M. Trotter and partner and the lucky Gay Gordons were won by Miss W. Burns and Mr. John Hickey. Mr. D. Humphries was M;C.
