INFORMAL TEA MR. MARTIN'S ADDRESS There was a fair attendance of members at the usual threeweekly Social tea conducted by the Opunake Junior Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Des Julian oc.. cupied the chair at Monday's gathering and Mr. R, S. Martin was guest speaker. Mr. Martin discussed the problems involved in installing a Borough water su'pply, especially from an engineering angle, and elaborated on his recent articles in the Opunake Times. The address was interesting and instructive and the speaker was accorded a very attentive hearing throughout. The chairman thanked Mr. Martin and the motion was carried by acclamation. An enjoyable savoury supper was also served antl a popular Quiz Session was. conducted by Mr. A. McGaughey. A shortperiod devoted to impromptu speeches was also well received.
