COASTAL BASKETBALL
REPRESENTATIVE HONOURS JUNIOR RESULTS Coastal gained five places in the Taranaki Basketball Representative teams. V. Minhinnick (Rahotu) B team, and in the C team: R. Horo (Rahotu), J. Watts (Pun garehu), J. Sim (Okato), M. Hohaia (Opunake). In the Junior games Pihama suffered its first defeat by Opunake. These two teams are now even. Results were: Okato 8 v. Pungarehu 1; Opunake won by default from Puniho; Pihama 14 v. Rahotu A 3; O.D.H.S. won by defaxilt from Rahotu B. Opunake 9 v. Pihama 8; Rahotu A won by default from Puniho; Pungarehu won by default from Rahotu B; O.D.H.S. 10 v. Okato 4. -
