MANGATOKI'S VISIT WAIATJA CUP Although a number of Mangatoki p!ayers arrived at the Clubhouse on Sunday, the adverse weather in the early afternoon caused the majority to remain at home, and as a result the match was pOistponed, local members and the visitors present indulging in several "scrambles." The president, Mr. S. Hutchen, welcomed the visitors and a dainty afternoon tea was served by the ladies. The Opunake ladies also cancelled their visit to Mangatoki. Waiaua Cup The Waiaua Cup has now been advanced to the semi-final, D. Bullock plays H. Otene and D. Watt meets P. Harding. Latest results were: Bullock beat L. Des Forges 3/2; Otene beat K. Hepburn 8/6; Watt beat B. Peat 6/5; Harding beat J. Yep 2 up.
