An Opunake boy, L.A.C. Brian HcCullum, who is stationed at the Te Rapa Air Force station, suffered burns about the face as a result of an accident with an cil stove. He was admitted to 1 bspital for. treatment but lias since been discharged. His condition is satisfactory, and the burns were not serious. His parents, Mr. and Mrs.'C. J. McCulhim, Fox Street, were immediately notified by telegram.
