PLUNKET CAR FUND
EFFORT IN OPUNAKE A monster euchre and dance will be held in St. Patrick’s Hall on Friday, October 25th., in aid of the car fund for the Pluuket Society. A T o doubt all residents are aware that a car is most neces saiy in the work of a Pluuket nurse, and the local Society, together with the sub-branches of Rahotu, Manaia, Kaponga and Amoa hope to purchase a car foi the use of the nurse within the next month. This cannot be made possible unless the support of the public is assured and the committee appeal to all to support the effort now being made. Tickets may be obtained from members of the Pluuket committee! '
