FATAL ACCIDENT

OH RAHOTU FARM. Thrown from a dray which he was driving, Mr. Charles John Crockett, employed by Mr. N. C. Morgan of Rahotu, was killed instantly. Deceased was aged 48 years and leaves a wife and four children.

The accident occurred when a portion of the harness snapped causing the vehicle to fall backwards, the driver being thrown heavily on his head, suffering a broken neck. The funeral will leave New Plymouth tomorrow.
