Sydney University team beat the American University by 10 points to 9. The Maoris defeated Bathurst by 12 point! to 8.
The Management Committee has received a request from the New South Wales Rugby Union, asking that the All Blacks be permitted to extend their tour in Australia tor a week longer than previously arranged. It is understood that if the necessary leave of absence can be obtained for several of the players the tour will be extended for another week.
The English Northern Union defeated Newcastle by 40 points to 20, Mr S. Forsyth is the official referee in the senior match (Patea v Opunake), to be played to-morrow, on the reo. Play commences at half-past ten. The Opuoake seniors are requested to be on the ground by that time. Any senior players who roll up will get a game. * ,
