ROAD MATERIAL.

(to the editor.) Sib,—Will Mr McGloin enlighten us what named material Mr Hannigan is, and has been, patting on the main road this winter ? Is it not the kind of stuff he accused the Council of putting on to grow potato crops in, a few years ago, when he was bidding for popularity to become a member of the Council ? Is there 25 per cent of stone? Will he deny that the stuff is not fit to repair the road with ? Where is Mr McGloin's consistency ?—I am, &c, Ratepayer. Rahotu, July 29, 1895.
