Greasy and scoured merino, medium and inferior, and fine and medium greasy crossbred are £d to .1| per lb higher. Coarse greasy crossbred is Id to 1-J per lb higher. Medium and coarse scoured crossbred, greasy merino lambs, superior and greasy crossbred lambs are to Id per lb higher. Washed merino, medium and inferior, and fine scoured crossbreds are par to *d per lb higher. Home buyers are purchasing freely. The American demand has increased. Competition on German account is fairly active. There is only moderate competition on French account. The total quantity catalogued to date is 80,000 bales. Wheat—The market is depressed. Spot quotations have declined 61 per 4961bs since last report. Quotations nominal. Messrs F. R. Jackson and Cos.' Stock Report. JOHNSONVILLE, July 18. We had some heavy bullocks in the sale to-day; the balance were small and of medium quality. Biddingwas brisk, with an improvement in prices. The sheep pens were all full and values were on a par with those selling at last sale. Pigs sold better. Cattle —Best bullocks, £7 10s to £9 ss; others, £6 5s to £7 ; cows, £3 12s 6d to £7 2s; ox beef brought 19s, and cow beef 17s per 1001 b. SheepWethers, 10s 2d to Is 3d ; ewes, 8s 9d to 12s 3d. Pigs—Small baconers, 25s to 28s ; pork, 15s to 21s ; small pigs, 6s.
