Reports from Corea state that the Japanse had a decisive victory over the Chinese at Kinerin, on the north bank of the Yalu River, defeating a force of 16,000,-and that extensive quantities of ammunition and provisions were captured. In the fight at Kulien Chanar, the Japanese lost 100 killed and wounded. Two hundred Chinese were killed, but the number of wounded is unknown. The fight lasted four hours.
