At a meeting of the committee of the Cricket Club on Tuesday evening, it was resolved, That the seertary write to the Cricket Association, and the Unity and Clifton Clubs, requesting that the fixture for December 26 be altered to December 27, and that of January 1 to January 2, on account of races being held on the appointed days. It was also resolved, That the secretary commu»icate with the Manaia Club asking for a game on Saturday, November 3, at oP una^e> Mr Knobbs was engaged to keep the cricket ground in order for matches during the season. At the ground on Wednesday twelve players turned up and a good practice was held.
