Young ; sheep infected with lice. Defendant pleaded gnilty. Fined ss. Police v. Percy Ellerm. Defendant pleaded guilty to throwing a dog fromthe top of the Manaia Domain Tower, a distance of about 30 feet. Remanded for one. month. Bolton v. Graham (Pihama). Mr Scott-Smith for plaintiff, and Mr Bennet for defendant. Judgment for plaintiff, .with costs. Execution stayed for 1 month. . : . .j -' Wicbmann v. D. McGregor, bf Whakamara, claim £5.4s for supervising property at Kaupokonuu Mr Scott-Smith for plaintiff, and Mr Matthews for defendant. . Plaintijff, who spoke broken English, and was very deaf, created much amusement by stating that" he was not a clergy-; man, and did not know how to keep books." Crosa-examined by Mr Matthews : Knew the laud was leased by Mr John McGregor from Mr 0. Lewlf, of Manaia. Received £1 on account from Mr John McGregor. Duncan McGregor paid him 80s before that. Plaintiff quoted D. McGregor'* letter as proof of liability. Duncan McGregor put him on to work. Mr Matthews contended that Duncan was John McGregor's agent. Plaintiff was nonsuited without costs. Mathieson v. G. Biorner, claim £7 7s 7d. Mr Bennett 'for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Lewis v. Carey, claim for rent da* on account defendant not leaving till some time after the sale of the property by defendant to plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff. . . . ~
