McGregor, bf Whakamara, claim £5.4s for supervising property at Kaupokonuu Mr Scott-Smith for plaintiff, and Mr Matthews for defendant. . Crosa-examined by Mr Matthews : Knew the laud was leased by Mr John McGregor from Mr 0. Lewlf, of Manaia. Received £1 on account from Mr John McGregor. Duncan McGregor paid him 80s before that. Plaintiff quoted D. McGregor'* letter as proof of liability. Duncan McGregor put him on to work. Mr Matthews contended that Duncan was John McGregor's agent. Plaintiff was nonsuited without costs. Mathieson v. G. Biorner, claim £7 7s 7d. Mr Bennett 'for plaintiff. Judgment for plaintiff, with costs. Lewis v.
