The Wairaate footballers contemplate holding a ball shortly,’ which shall knock the whole district silly by its brilliance and magnificence.^ Several favorable comments have been passed on your recent article on Milk Testing. Mr Philip McCarthy is just starting to erect a set of shops in the Octagon, and from the appearance of the plahs should greatly beautify our township and enhance the value of adjacent property.
