SMALL BIRD NUISANCE.
(to the editor.) Sir,—l observe that the experimental trials by the representatives of Road Board delegates in Marlborough have resulted in poisoning by strychnine. The report was unanimous (discarding p honing by phosphorus); so that if any of our local bodies are about to supply poisoned grain to settlers, perhaps it would be wise to accept the above experience.—l am, Ac., G.
