TARANAKI v. AUCKLAND.

The game between the above teams was played on Saturday last at Auckland, in the presence of about seven thousand people. The match turned out rather one-sided, and resulted in a win for Taranaki by 14 poius to nil. The Aucklanders were over-matched at all points, and our men played a slashing game. The score was made up by a goal from a free kick, a try obtained by Wells, try by W. Bayly, and a try by Lusk, which was converted. PARIHAKA v. PUKEEO. A football match was played at Parihaka on Saturday last between the Parihaka and Pukeko Clubs. Parihaka proved victorious by 16 to 12.
