♦ — The return match between the Ake Ake Football Club and Kaitake was played on Saturday at Oakura, and resulted in a win for the home team by 9 points to nil. H. Mills scored two tries, and Weihi one. H. Shove and Bayly played well for the winners ; while for Ake Ake, Hill, Wills, and Oxenham made some desperate attempt? to score, but the opposing team Avas too strong in defence. On Wednesday the Ake Ake Club will play a match against Taiparanui at Eahotu, and on Saturday next they will play the return inaich with Parihal.a.
