(xo THE EDITOn.) Sir, —Kindly allow mo to correct the report in your last issue of the 6lh instant of the meeting of the Taranaki County Council, as copied from the News. The motion I moved was as follows: That the clerk write to the Public Trustee requesting him to inform the Council immediately the area of native lands between Stoney and Taimgatara Rivers nob already disposed of by lease ; also the approximate value per acre of the above lands in the Parihaka Riding—l am, &c., J. McGloix, Rahotu. July 9th, 1894.
