Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Parsoen left Opotiki to-day. for Auckland. ******** Mrs. J. T. Thompson who lias been spending an extended holiday m Australia, where she travelled by llying-boat, returned by the Kamo means accompanied by her son Mr. Claude Thompson. Mrs. Thompson states she was glad to get back to New Zealand and mentioned seeing the drought area in Australia where the ground is at bare as the streets.
