MONTHLY STOCK SALE Messrs. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their usual monthly stock sale on the above date, when a full yarding of fat and store cattle came forward, with dairy sorts scarce. The advertised bulls on account of Mr. J. G. Murray sold well, un der keen competition, at prices up to 21-1 guineas. A line of fat bullocks offered realised £lO ss. Realisations: Sheep: Fat wether hoggets, £l 4s 6d.
Cattle: Fat Hereford bullocks, £lO 5s to £ll 15s; fat cows, £5 to £6 ss; light cows, £4 3s to £4 13s; Shorthorn steers, to £5 17s; boner cows, £2 ss” to £3 15s; potter bulls, £4 to £6; yearling Jersey heifers, to £5.
