RAIDING ITALIANS

AFRICAN' AIR FORCE ETHIOPIAN AERODROME PLANE DESTROYED RECONNAISSANCE HOPS (News by Cable.) RUGBY, Sept. 25. A communique issued in Nairobi to-day states that aircraft of the South African Air Force to-day successfully raided the Sciascia Manna aerodrome, Abyssinia, for the third time in a fortnight. Heavy bombs fell on the target and one Italian aircraft on the ground was destroyed. •

Normal reconnaissance flights "were carried out by other aircraft. All the machines returned safely. Italian aircraft attempted two raids over Kenya on Monday, one at Waj'r and one in the Tana River area. No serious damage was caused but there were a few casualties.
