THE TICKET ENTERPRISE.
Dear Madam Allow me to inform "Disgusted" that I have been greatly amused at the way he has been floundering about m search of "Salopian", but he is entirely m the dark, and has been most unjustly hitting some who had no knowledge of either; letter or writer, I refret that "One Tailor" did not treat his attack with the silent attack it deserved ; however your correspondent has misquoted the "old adage". "It takes nine tailors to make a man" but twice nine could not make a man, (much less a gentleman,) of Disgusted. I hope he will feel ashamed and apologise for I assure him our local tailor had nothing whatever to do 'with my letter. Madam, the different subjects mentioned m the letter were introduced by Disgusted himself, the horse, trap, and farm, do not apply to me as I use neither on Sunday, but "do not throw stones, mind the glass", is the advice I give your correspondent. As to the "making cadgers of our children" is not admitted; no one will support your correspondent's statement on that subject, or any other m his letter, Madam, I thank you for past favours and when I trouble you agiin I trust I shall have a more honourable opponent. I am &c, SALOPIAN.
