THE TICKET NUISANCE.
I have watched with interest and amusement the various letters on the above subject, and wish to add my quota to protest against the traffic. I think it demoralises every one that comes m contact with it, but of course as I am only a women, I suppose my opinions are not worth much not even so much as those of One Tailor; to show the evil is spreading I send you a clipping from the Rangiora Standard of March 6th. which I hope you will be able to find space for. Yours Truly Madam BETSY JANE. "The juvenile ticket sellers have made themselves most objectionable during the present week ; but m one instance particularly under ray notice the raid had its amusing side. One resident who was enjoying the sweet slumber usually enjoyed m the early hours of the morning, was awakened by loud rapping at the door. Thinking it was someone requiring his services, — for he was of the medical persuasion — he called out "What do you want?" "Please Sir," came a plaintive little voice, "Will you buy a ticket for the concert."
