The House Was informed this afternoon that plans' arid ; specifications for the first mile ■ of ''railway' -construction from Jackson's would be, ready Thursday, and that plans for the whole length to connect Jacksons and Spring-
field would be ready within a month. This information was given by the Premier when replying to a question by the Hon. W. J. Steward on th« subject of finding work for the unemployed. TIMBER IN OXFORD BUSH. .■ Some time before the opening jof ' Parliament, Mr Meredith was m communication with the Government with | reference to the reduction of the rates of royalty paid by sawmillers cutting timber m Oxford Bush.
