ODDFELLOWS.
The half yearly '.meeting of. ther Loyal Oxford Lodge was held at the Odd-
fellows Hall West Oxford on Saturday last June 23rd when there were present all officers and a good number of members. The N. G- Bro W. Stevenson presided who opened the Lodge in due form. The accounts and minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received from district Chambers covering password for ensuing quarter. Also from Loyal Caversham Lodge re sick pay. The report of sick visitors with medical certificate was received which showed that nine members had been on the funds of the lodge, but five had been declared off thus leaving four still on the funds. Two Candidates were ballotted for and accepted and one was initiated with the usual formalities, one candidate was proposed for membership. On the motion of Bro A. Lee and seconded by P. G. Frampton it was resolved, that next meeting be a summoned one to discuss matters re annual Excursion. P.G. Frampton proposed and P.G. Youngman seconded. That notice of motion be given for next district meeting. That one delegate have power to vote for as many members as Lodges are entitled to send to District meetings which was carried unanimously. " The Election of officers for the ensuing term resulted as follows.— N.G to P.G. D. Crowe. V.G .. P.G, A. Frampton. P.S P Smith. Warden, Bro J. Youngman, Guardian, H. Hartland. R.S to N.G. W Youngman L.S .. N.G. R Free R.S ... V.G. A Lee * *L.S. .. V.G. E Meyers. Accounts amounting to £29. were passed for payment. The receipts for the evening were £43 2s 2d. The Lodge was closed in peace and harmony.
