Not Confined To The 15th Century. Sir Francis Drake sailed from Falmouth England in 1577 and circumnavigated the globe and after many perilous adventures returned to England in 1580. Circumnavigation, however, was not brought to a science until the present century, and strangely enough it has attained to its greatest a. strength in Australasia, where throughout the length and breadth of the v . continent, the public a^e. circumnavigated by scoundrels in sheep's clothing who palm off vile, concoctions, which they place in empty bottles which previously held .the genuine Wolfe's Schnapps.
