anything deing done for some time to come. No doubt that if all who keep cows and have land suited for cowkeeping joined, a start could be at once made, but unfortunately there are people so constituted . that they cannot see any good m any new departure untill others have proved it and taken all the risk. In the present case there really is no risk as it; has been proved beyond all doubt, that, it is more profitable, as well less labonrous, to sell milk to the factories than to make it into butter privately.
