LADY HAIRDRESSERS .
Considering the aptitude that women have for the work it is surprising how few take uy nairdressing as a means of earning a living. A suc-^. cessful hair-dressing, business brings in a good income, and there are many side-lines which considerably increase the profit. Hair washes, shampoo powders, false hair, hair ornaments, all are in great demand, the selling of which is a paying, game. Then there is always the chance of securing regular clientele for manicure, caerppody and massage* which can easily be run in connection with the hairdressing business. Of course, it is no use going in for hairdressing unless you have a natural aptitude for it, and show some originality and discrimination in your choice of styles suitable to different types of f^ces. The hygiene of the head and the cure of various head and scalp troubles. Scalp masBage, electric brushing, clipping, cutting and shampooing are all profitable side lines, and regular customers for the various hair treatments make a good backbone to the business.
