SPORTS COMMITTEE.

At a meeting ot (the commitiee ot sports to Queen Carnival held at Paeroa on Saturday, the following were present: —Messrs Fielder (chair), Brenan, Quick, Vuglar, Wa.ddingham, Moore, Byrne, Spinks, Brown, Neil, and Bush.

The following officers were appointed

—Judges, Messrs Poland and Vuglar; starter, Mr Fielder; handicappers, Messrs Fielder and Moore; timekeeper, Mr Brown j gatekeepers, Messrs Waddinghatn, Spinks, and Turner; call stevvaid, Mr E. Moore.
