The Thames Valley Farmers' Agency reports:— <VAt our weekly sale held at the mart on Saturday there was a good attendance, and a quantity of goods were disposed of Fowls brought from 2s upwards, one pen of five brought 3s 6a. each; set single harness, £4; leather head stalls from 2s 6d to 3s 6d ; chiffonnier and book case £2 12s 6d; kitchen cabinet, £1 ss; bacon, 6d per lb; flexible stael rope was withdrawn, the highest offer being £3; buggy at £13 and tip dray at £12 were also withdrawn, not realising reserves.
