GYMNASIUM.
(By Rifle.)
As a result of the annual meeting of the 0.R.V., this company has definitely decided to form a Volunteer gymnasium, which should prove a valuable acquisition not or \y to the company, but to the young men of Paeroa geneially. The company has decided to purchase the gear necessary, and the executive conmittee appointed have spared no trouble in their efforts to get a first-class equipment, and the gear is,-I understand^ now under order, and will arrive in the couse of a week. The charge for membership is £» iced at 10s for the season, and judging by the number of members already enrolled, the gymnasium will not lack support. The night fixed for practice is Wedneiday, which should I think be found suitable for alt. This gymnasium will fill a want long felt in Paeroa, and is deseiving of every support, giving, as it does, good healthy exercise and amusement comjbined.
