PAEROA MARKET REPORT.
Mackay and Pratt report as follows on the usual weekly sale held at their mart, Paeroa, on Thursday last:— Small entries of fruit induced an improvement in prices for all classes of consignments, which we,re cleared under good competition. Plums, inferior, 9d' and Is, small box.
Tomatoes, fd to IJd per lb. Figs, Id per lb. Lemons, 5d per doffi. Ap t )les, l|d, Id, to-Id'per lb. Walnuts, 3£d per lb. Pears, l^dperlb. Pumpkins, 2s 6jd to 2s '9d per bag:. "Wo have soldi tilts furniture and effects of two 'boarding-houses m Karangaiiate during the last w^-ek, and have also l.sA special furniture sales at oar mart, at all of which fair prices have been realised.
Houde properties are slow of sale, but we still find good enquiry and business foi' the numerous owners of leasehold properties for whon* we act.
