The Government has given orders for the Tutanekai's- return at once to Auckland from Awanui. She would take 200 men at a j»inch, and the Premier states that 500 would be in readiness in -IK hours if there were steamers to take them. He has not renewod the oifer to the Home Government, as ii the men are wanted they are aware that the iNew Zealand Government is prepared to supply them, and thsre are any number ready to go. lie expects that the English Government will probaby cable if they lesire to avail themselves of the recent offer.
