In the .evening a smoke concert was held in Flett's Eob Hoy Hotel, for the benefit of the Visitors,; at which Mr J. \ nsenne presided. The Waihi people ar© to be congratulated on the energetic manner in which they have started their Fire Brigade, and it will doubtless soon reach that high state of efficiency which other organisations attain hi Waihi.
