' It is thus that the Waihi paper announces the tying of a new nuptial knot:—"The ever popular Morris Onmmins gave over the reins for life on Wednesday last to Miss B. Toomey. Father Bracket! tied up the traces so tight^ that neither can ever kick over the pole,""
