NZPA—Copyright Rec. 10.15 p.m. NEW YORK, Dec. 24. The United States was in “ excellent shape ” to meet the world crisis, President Truman told Masonic leaders at a dinner last night. “All we need now is time and that is what we are fighting for,” he added. President Truman said he did not agree with those who said the American people were confused. “ The American people understand the situation. The American people are willing to make all the sacrifices that are necessary to meet the situation with which we are faced.”
