Deputies Study Problems

NZPA—Copyright Rec. 0.15 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 14. The North Atlantic Treaty deputies and Military Committee meeting in London have considered these problems: — 1. The immediate appointment of General Dwight Eisenhower as supreme commander of the Atlantic Treaty Army. 2. The practical creation of this integrated force in January. 3. The inclusion in it and the immediate recruitment of German units of reinforced brigade strength. 4. German recruitment not exceeding one-fifth bf the total West European forces. i 5. Authority for France to proceed with plans to form a smaller integrated European Army within the Atlantic Treaty Army. The recommendations of the deputies and Military Committee will be submitted to a meeting of Defence and Foreign Ministers in Brussels next week.
