THOUSANDS FILE PAST CASKET
PA WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. In slow but steady procession hundreds of mourners have been filing through Parliament Building during the day paying their silent tributes to Mr Fraser, whose body is lying in state In the black-canopied main vestibule. A military guard, with reversed arms, keeps silent vigil over the coffin, which is flanked by many beautiful wreaths. Floral tributes from sympathisers throughout New Zealand and from many parts of the world continue to arrive at Parliament Building. They are being assembled in the social room cot far from where the casket lies. Thousands of. trade" unionists and others are preparing to march through the capital tomorrow in thenlast homage, and Wellington’s hubbub of pre-Christmas shopping will be •tilled before midday as the funeral procession moves slowly through the ■treets. , No work will be done by the water - siders at the main ports tomorrow from 8 to 1 o’clock, as a gesture of respect.
