A strong westerly gale made shooting difficult at the trap on Saturday, when the North Otago Gun Club’s Christmas shoot was held. Results :
Five-bird Eye-opener. A. Taylor (15yds), L. Taylor (15yds), H. C. Walker (16yds), I. James (14yds), J. Lawrence (15yds), J. Robertson (15yds) 5. Ten Birds.—A. Taylor (15yds), A. White (11yds), L. Taylor (15yds), C. Thompson (15yds), H. C. Walker (16yds), A. Walker (16yds), J. Lawrence (15yds) 9. In the shoot off for the Christmas trophy A. Walker won, with L. Taylor runner-up. McCallum Cup (45 birds, 14 yards).—l. James 1, A. Taylor 2. Ten Birds.—B. Gillies (11yds), G. Tate (13yds), L. Taylor (15yds), H. C. Walker (16yds) 10. In the shoot off for the Christmas trophy H. C.
