Sparkling Display At Timaru PA TIMARU, Dec. 7. In cool, overcast weather, the touring professional tennis players, Donald Budge, Frank Parker, “ Pancho ” Gonzales and “ Dlnny ” Pails, provided a sparkling display of tennis at Maori Park this afternoon. The gallery of 350 which saw the matches must have left the park fully satisfied they had seen four of the world’s finest exponents of the game in action. Results: — F. Parker beat D. Budge 4—6, 6—2, 7—5; D. Pails beat R. Gonzales 6—2, 9—7; Parker and Pails beat Gonzales and Budge 6 —3, 3—6, 6 —4.
