DEATH IN AMBULANCE

Victim Of Collision In Roslyn

An elderly Dunedin resident died in an ambulance on the way to the Hospital after being involved in a collision with a motor car near the intersection of City road and Sheen street, Roslyn, about 8 o’clock last night. He was George Calder Begg Paterson, aged 65 years, a widower, of 15 Fifield street, Roslyn.

After the accident Mr Paterson was taken to the Dunedin Public Hospital, but was found to be dead on arrival. He received severe head injuries.

The motor car, which was moving down City road at the time, was driven by Mrs M. L. Paterson, of 351 Highgate.
